Born in Winter Park, Florida, and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Marcus grew up with a competitive spirit, especially through my love of tennis. As the youngest of four, family has always played a central role in his life, and he’s always valued their shared experiences exploring new destinations. He pursued higher education at Rollins College and the University of Central Florida, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with a minor in Business Administration.
Marcus began his career in the hospitality industry, co-founding a catering and underground dinner company alongside his sister, an executive chef. This venture led to several years as a sous chef before eventually managing and owning restaurants in Charlotte, NC, that received regional and national recognition. Seeking new challenges, Marcus transitioned into the SaaS industry in Seattle, WA, working with notable tech companies.
Today, he thrives as a Business Development Manager in executive recruiting, where he helps organizations find and secure top talent. He is especially passionate about leadership and enjoy mentoring others in both my professional and personal life.
Outside of work, he’s drawn to the outdoors—whether it’s hiking, golfing, or relaxing on a beach. Traveling is a favorite pastime, particularly when it includes discovering new restaurants and hidden speakeasies. Looking to the future, Marcus aspires to step into the world of stand-up comedy, combining my passion for storytelling and connecting with people in a whole new way.
